I.M. Maillette clrc#37300
Maillette  won second in her very large class of browns at Alpaca Ontario 2009. The judge observed that she was the ideal type of girl for a breeding programme. She is a large solid boned individual and the carbon copy of her elder sister Twickle, who is also on the farm. She halters extremely well, and produces a full long fleece with substantial coverage and a constant medium brown colour. An excellent example of an alpaca, she has been bred to Sombrero for a late 2010 cria, but  is not as yet confirmed pregnant. An absolute bargain at $3,000.

Twickle clrc#35192

Twickle was the first cria born on our farm, and we are proud to say she was the first homebred to produce a cria when she gave birth to little Sawyers this summer. Twickle is the most elegant alpaca, an absolute joy to handle and a very conscientious first time mother Her fibre characteristics are identical to her full sister Maillette , whose qualities have already been recognised in the showring. This very special alpaca has been bred to Sombrero for a 2010 cria. Twickle is for sale for $3,000

Charo's Shining Star clrc# 24902
Star, pictured between her daughter Lavender and new born son Spike in May 2009, is a prolific producer of substantial high quality cria. A tough and no nonsense mum who births very easily, Star would be the matriarch in any herd  that Lily was not in. She still retains bundles of fibre and sheared seven pounds in 2009. Our herd is full of her bloodlines. Her offsping can be seen on the farm. Bred to Sombrero for 2010,Star is for sale at $2,500.

Lavender Lady clrc#37305

Lavender is a very popular alpaca in all ways. She is easy to handle and great at school visits. She has great stature and a lot of fleece, which carries a rich fawn lustre and has produced a fabulous yarn for us this year which is in great demand from our clients. She was shown at Alpaca Ontario in 2009. The judge pulled her to the front before anything else , but in the end moved her back down the line to sixth. We were extremely disappointed as we felt she was our best hope of the year, ironically we came away with 5 ribbons from other classes. Go figure! She remains an outstanding alpaca, and was bred in the fall to Tucker for a 2010 cria. Lavender is for sale for $3,500.

Johanna Little Lady clrc # 37302

Johanna is a very strong and athletic animal, and she has produced a fabulous yarn this year. She is a little fractious and headstrong, and we would expect her to be a herd matriarch one day. She bred often and very willingly with Tucker in the early part of last summer,a first time experience for them both, so we fully expect a 2010 cria, with every chance that it will be a grey with the same supersoft handle of the parents. Johanna is for sale for $4,000.
