Munstead.jpg

I M Munstead clrc#37303
Munstead is a big, brave young alpaca who handles very easily. He produces a thick heavy fleece that is great for spinners, but lacks the true lustre and organisation for a potential herdsire He has been left an entire as his excellent conformation may encourage someone to give him a chance in a breeding  programme, but as a brown we have no opportunities for him here. Munstead is for sale for $500.

Sombrero
Sombrero is a beautifully put together alpaca with fine fleece with heavy crimp. As he was a multi his breeder never registered him, but we were anxious to get the Viagra bloodline into our herd from another avenue, and so we registered him and put him to four of our girls in 2009. We are very hopeful about the outcome, however Sombrero does not do well in a large herd. He was raised in a small group of five alpacas and to be honest does not interract at all well with a lot of alpacas. He halters very nicely and has impeccable manners with humans, and keeps his pen very tidy. He would make an ideal companion animal for another alpaca, or herdsire in a small breeding programme. Sombrero is for sale for $500.
